The Criminal Career Track offers the Oracle and Boss Branches
The Sims 4's Criminal Career Rewards your Sim for being bad. You will either choose to become a Crime Boss, being a leader of a gang, or follow the Oracle Branch to delve deeper into Hacking and internet crimes. The best Traits differ, but the best Aspiration is either Public Enemy or Chief of Mischief - both of these give the Dastardly Bonus Trait, which helps immensely with Mischief interactions for getting started in the Career.
The Ideal Mood for the early levels of the Criminal Career is Playful.
Criminal Job Levels and Career Unlocks
Perhaps the best way to level the Mischief Skill is to get to Level 2 and Troll teh Forums. This provides steady gains, as opposed to using the interactions on other Sims. Decide which branch you'll pursue early, and you may get to start working on the required Skills before you reach the branch.

Boss Career
The Search for Bank Blueprints ability, unlocked at level 9 and found under Web on the Computer, will increase your Sim's Mischief Skill and give a +1 Inspired Moodlet for 2 Days. The good thing about this is it's an easy way to level Mischief while at home without making enemies of your Family. I suppose it's possible that it helps the likelihood of something like a bank heist opportunity happening while at work, but have not experienced this myself. Do let us know on the Forum's Suggestions board if you discover the main use of this ability.
All the rewards you get for this Career give off a Playful Emotional Aura, yet the Ideal Mood for the Boss Career is Focused. Using a Woodworking Table is one of the best ways to level your Sim's Handiness Skill.

Oracle Career
The Oracle Career Rewards include a great Computer and neat Spy Satellite for a Wall.
The Oracle Career will have your Sim focusing on Hacking, heavily, as well as making Viruses on the Computer. You still need to work on Mischief here, but Oracles are nowhere near as mean as Bosses. Genius is an excellent Trait for this Career, as the Sim will be more likely to get Focused for work - you can also browse Simpedia on the Computer - and later Hack Mainframe - to get a Focused Buff.
This Career unlocks the ability to Hack Mainframe, along with one of the best Computers in the game - although it's not Unbreakable, it has a very high Fun rating and reliability of 8. Hack Mainframe will make your Sim Focused, but also make Hacking more profitable when it's successful. This makes the career something you'll want to pursue if you want to make money while Hacking. The Patched In buff lasts a full 8 hours, so you can do this and make a gob of money hacking the various Servers with the Programming Skill.
